I have to wait until tommarow to get my hands on a large box of wheat rolls that have been boxed since the mid to early 1970's. Stopped in the pawn shop today and he said he will dig them out of house for me me. Don't know exactly how many rolls there are but he said quite a few. Bought a few rolls he had in the shop at $2.00 per roll a couple of weeks ago. He also has a jug for me full of them. I feel like a Junkie that has to get his fix.
Might as well face it you are addicted to wheats, although what you potentially might harvest is likely responsible. Have fun. TC
Sweet Wheatz, I feel your pain...I'm a total instant gratification guy too. Waiting for something you really want is the pits. -LTB
I would love to save some unopened but I am a man of very little self control when it comes to things like these (rolls)
Anticipation . . . Dude . . . savor the anticipation . . . that's part of the fun. (Although I realize that the older one gets, the easier it is to savor . . . . time already flies to fast for some of us!)
So far I found a 33, (3) 32-d's, (3) 32, 09 VDB, (4) 1914, (4)1912, 1928-D 1928-S, 1925-D. And a couple of nice lamination errors and a 1920-S woodie. He is still looking for most of the coins. I was only able to get a few rolls and a small box full so far. hopefully my home computer gets fixed soon so I can post some pics
Nice so far Nice so far. Sounds like if you had gotten more to maul through you would be overwhelmed.:thumb:
