Received my 1856 Gold Quarter Eagle

    I planned on updating my previous thread, but it had lost interest/fallen down the list. I received the coin in the mail yesterday. For those who weren't following the thread, I purchased a AU58 NGC 1856 Gold Quarter Eagle on eBay after cointalk members recommended the purchase. The first two pictures adequately show the luster while the latter two are detailed pictures. The reasoning for 4 pictures is when I take them I have choice: I either get good luster and poor detail or bad luster but good detail. Tell me what you think.

    Gotta love that luster ! :thumb:

    That's not something to take for granted. Seems like many coins, even AU58 and MS coins, have weak luster.
