Once again, as with others, you ascribe false motives to those that disagree with you. I do not condone theft, robbery, or any other form of property crime and agree that it should be prosecuted. Where we disagree is in your claim that property crime in numismatics rises to the levels you claim and thus requires a significant reallocation of crime enforcement resources.

Your hyperbole on this topic is unwarranted as are your claims against the members here who disagree with you.

Right... then what are all the guns for at the coin shows. No need for insurance or safes. It is all OK... please. You don't disagree with me. You disagree with fundemental reality. Someone like you will never be convinced. No rational statement penetrates. You just stand like Larry Martin, regardless of how the facts stack up.

Tell the family of John M. Turner, a 79-year-old coin and jewelry store owner, who was shot and killed during a robbery that coin theft is not a serious problem.

BTW - I answered your question before and you just ignored it... because that is what you do. You just reject what you don't want to hear and repeat yourself over again... like the Wizzard of Oz after being discovered by Dorathy.

Nor will they accept his distorted view of what the facts truly are. His contrived 'facts' are nothing more than his relentless diatribes promulgating his personal agenda.

I think it's apparent where the credibility of his posts stand. Look at the members he calls out as trolls and those that he says support the criminals and that have questionable morality. Then look at the contributions of those members to the CT community. They are the members who are answering questions, helping new collectors, and providing insightful comments. That's easy for all to see.

I don't think his insults carry any weight and am done wasting my time with him. Hopefully he won't do any lasting damage to the efforts of those who want improve collector safety/security and are willing to consider all opinions

We should all just cool it before the mods tell us to. I don't think there is much more we can or should say on the topic.

I don't quite understand what all this is about. Is it about people stealing coins? Or is it about reporting stolen coins?
I just think that this website is supposed to be about coins. Is this the place that we write about the people who have had coins stolen, or is it about the legal site to keep a listing of all coins that have been stolen? Either way, it is a waste of time. I think we have places that we can go to deal with stolen coins, and any other topic should have their own thread.
I, for one, would like to see rare coins and information about them. Right?
