Remember the U.S. Mint "Legacies of Freedom" offering of January,2004?
It consisted of an American Eagle and a British 2 pound bullion coin in a cheapo cardboard folder. The British Mint offered the same package under the name "Ladies of Liberty".Did anyone purchase either or both of these sets?

I bought the US mint one. It just seemed interesting to have. Not sure of value though. Also have the Euro and 50 state quarters one.

I bought one of each and didn't receive the British version for almost 6 months.I thought they had cancelled my order and one day,it just showed up.
The UK set at least used airtights but the U.S. set has flexible blister plastics that rotate. The hilarious instruction sheet must have been an afterthought :D
The worst thing was the price. They were $49.99 each and fortunately,I see some on ebay ranging from $65 and up.Who would have thought?
