A beautiful historic site with tons of history. Home of the Star Spangled Banner. I haven’t been since I was a young teen but I’ve never forgotten it so I had to have this set when it was issued in 2013 by the Mint. 1C8460A6-F8FA-434A-AC91-26778E31E429.jpeg B0386B71-E714-4F0C-A89B-2ACAE329FD1F.jpeg D1B74483-6B4A-4756-AB4D-3D9B71303675.jpeg BBE06082-9FD6-4F1C-92BE-F36D936C3BC8.jpeg

We live not too far from there but I've never been
Have been to see the Star Spangled Banner at the American History Museum though. Pretty amazing piece of history.

Yes it is and if you can, make plans to take the family to Fort McHenry. It’s well worth it. No ships ever made it past the fort so Baltimore was never attacked. In downtown Baltimore overlooking the inner harbor, there are still cannons that were the last defense. If I recall correctly they were never fired.
