Am I Missing Something?

    Perhaps this is some sort of rare variety I'm not aware of...but still, doesn't this seem a bit pricey for a 1907 Liberty Nickel? :confused:

    I know nothing about these except the highest Heritage has managed for one was just over $4,000 and it looked a lot nicer than the one in GSC's pictures.

    Nope, you aren't missing anything, and you are especialy not missing a ton of money.

    Good lord...well that is why I stay away from their coins, people get "bid" happy on their juiced photos and declarations of PQ. Sigh....

    Well, I wish I had that kind of money to throw at my coin collection! Not that I'd pay seven grand on one coin, but it is nice to dream...

    My standard rule: For that much money, no slab = no interest.
    Plus too many dings for me to consider it "Gem", never mind PQ.
    Might make "Choice".
