Stopped in Friday for my weekly coin fix, wasn't a lot to pick through except for silver rounds and large gold(1/2 oz & 1 oz). So I picked up some back date ASE's and this one beauty of a classic commem. I wasn't real interested in the subject and then the Ship on the reverse got my attention. Did some minor bargaining and the deal was done.
My first reaction from the thread title was the actor Slim Pickens. I will always remember his distinctive voice and riding the A-bomb.
Sounds like a fair deal. Prices keep going up on all kinds of different coins for the past year or two. Maybe that is just part of getting older, noticing how stuff costs more now than it did a few years ago...
