I just came up with this idea for this thread because i noticed Alot of people collect many different things, Would be interested In how many? And what?
Actually i posted a poll, And for some reason it didnt make it on the thread!! Generally iam seeking how many types? This could be anything U.S.A, World, Fractional. Mpc, Etc A general number will suffice lets say 1-10

I too collect U.S. and World Currency. U.S. Currency: Fractional Nationals Obsoletes Specialize more or less in Star Notes and Silver Certificates Little more difficult now that I'm retired but spend a lot of time on CT looking at what others have.
For now I just have some small u.s. notes like red seals, hawaii stamped, few confederates and alot of Sadam & Afgani notes. Im focusing on completing my u.s. coin sets before I jump into higher level currency.
Wow I had no idea!! As for me i sold most of my other stuff in the past couple Of years to concentrate on Mpc,s, What can i say its my passion!! By concentrating All my efforts on one thing iam able to accelerate my collecting, Though there Are several Series it still takes alot of time luck and money to be successful
I collect/any US currency I can afford/MPC's/ foreign & US obsoletes/coins US & foreign/ABNCo anything)/vignettes/souvenir cards/post cards.
There,s over 200 for me in thirteen different Series!!! i have already Atleast half in certified but there all in different series though i few Series that are with in one or two notes of completion though!! And have about 300 raw notes!
I just posted another thread on budget which i think it applies here I know for a fact if i didnt stay on one thing there is noway i could Have some of the nice stuff i have today, But it is nice to have a Variety, I do have some other stuff thats raw but iam not that active In it, Trying to complete some sets here in Mpc:high5:

Main focus is small size currency, but I have a few large size notes, few foreign notes, one fractional and even a couple Disney Dollars in my collection.

If by collect you mean pull from circulation, I collect star notes and interesting serial numbers. I used to save all the decent stars I could find. Now I just save back the nicer ones and low #s. I do occasionally pick up a few notes at auction but it's been a while. Mostly silver certificates or bills old enought not to have the current green seal.
Well it's alot but not the quality you or Rickey B go for. Many examples of them. But I have to say that the older I get the more I am looking for better quality then quantity for the most part. I do have your problem though and I just dont manage it as well... Money for it If I'd specalize like you it'd make it much easier on me.
