Another nice $15 pick-up

What's the difference between a "Blow Hole" and a fissure? I know I read about this somewhere, but can't remember (old age, sorry).

I have found one significant error coin in circulation.

A 1976 Jefferson 5 cent with an late stage capped die obverse.

I got it from the coin return at a grocery store checkout. Even after ~3 years of CRHing two bank boxes of nickels every month.

 

Guess I haven't read that far, or maybe that's where I read it and now can't remember? Old age is beginning to create problems. My advice to all is, "Don't get old." LOL

 

beautiful coin...i have a ew half dollars and a nickel like that, but paid a lot more than that..
