What I am wondering is why this is showing up as a new story. That robbery happen something like 4 years ago, March of 2017. They've already captured the thieves and gone to trial.

Hardly every article since there are DOZENS if not hundreds every week. This one was particularly interesting because I don't know how they stole such a big item under gaurd from a first class museum my that in Berlin. It is very sobbering.

Yes I understand that, but the article he posted is dated recently and is describing the theft as if it just happened instead of 4 years ago. Yes, I think they should be told.
