1949 restrikes of the Mexico 1898 peso coin for China.

Original coin (one peso 1900).

 

Fascinating attached article. I collect chopmarked coins, many of which are the Mexican 8R. Kann mentioned that chopping stopped around 1930 so, of course the restrikes wouldn't be chopped.
