yup I bought mine at from a local dealer..paid a little more than I should ($24) but I didnt mind.

The funny thing about it, the lady said I was being toooo picky because I asked to see 10 of them.

I don't see a pic, but how in the world did you get one?

I didn't see anything on the mint website. I'm just happy that they're going to continue with the series. Is this for both proof and unc?

LTB: Bullion ASEs are not sold from the Mint to individuals. You need to buy them from bullion dealers. There are many who have been taking pre-orders for sometime already.

Try Apmex, Modern Coin Mart, Golden Eagle Coins, Gainesville, et al.

Sorry guys. Had to do some editing as the pictures I uploaded to photobucket were too large and their editing software wasn't helping me so I had to resize them on my computer and upload 'em again....:)

Oohhh...ahhhh...now I see it. I am dazzled by her beauty...

I didn't know about them because I wasn't looking for them yet :) Now that I did do a search, there are tons all over feebay. I sure hope the mint does the proof and unc this year. The bullion is nice, but I like the burnished with the W mintmark for my collection. Although the 2009 bullion that I got last year, was a nice one, and it almost appears to have a burnished finish.

    Thanks for sharing.

Well, I feel a bit of a heel, I gave the coinshop boys the gripes because of the 5 $ premium over bullion, I guess it is just the newness, give it a few months and the premiums should go back to 2 or 3 $

  18. Now the new year can officially begin. The ASE is a beautiful coin and always gets a "wow" when I show non-collectors. Congrats on the purchase. TC

Yeah TC, the ASE is usually the first coin that I receive dated with the new year...although you used to be able to get them in the first week of January instead of the last.....:)

Nice coin. I think I'll wait a while for mine. If this year is anything like last year, there should be another 28.7 million of these hitting the market. I'm waiting for the Proof coin to be minted.
