Looks like a winner to me If so could > Get a value please! Date looks alot closer to rim than the others.
Yes, it appears you have a winner with the near date. My price guide only lists this in MS63 at $30.00. I'll let the others try and grade. I cannot make out the other as with the mint mark.
You are right of course. Nice to find but lot's of them out there at a better price than a guide will give.
I'm surprised at what they are selling for ......... https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fr...79+sba&_sacat=0&rt=nc&LH_Sold=1&LH_Complete=1
Is the wide rim a P mint and the blob S is the narrow rim? There are two separate coins shown. Asking because I had a blob S but with a narrow rim a year ago and I spent it since it didn't seem to be the rare one.
very nice find.. but as said unless very high mint state a 10 dollar coin.. Hell I got mine for under 50...
The Narrow and Wide rims are only found on 1979 SBA from Philadelphia. The 1979-S Proof Type 1 is filled in but is called a blob. The 1979-S Proof Type 2 is clear or rounded. Please do not confuse a type 1 and type 2 1979-S Proof with the 1981-S Proof type 1 and type 2.
well said... here is a good article explaining the differences https://www.thesprucecrafts.com/susan-b-anthony-dollars-key-varieties-768243
