Took me a second to catch your meaning . . . yeah, I guess they may be pretty regular with the red beans on some days, but I can't tell whether they are, and if Mondays are among them.
I was convinced this coin was a lock for a green bean. One of a few I'll surely try again in the future.
CAC does keep an internal database of coins that failed. While they do give it another look, the chances aren't great of a sticker on the second attempt. You might need to get a reholder (new cert number) to have better odds (if you think the expense of that is worth it).
While that's true, I doubt that they hold prior submission against a coin when deciding to bean it or not. They should hold to their principles, recognize that even they make mistakes, and bean a coin or not based on its own merits, and not based on their opinion rendered on a different day.
I agree completely. I just meant there is a bias (whether or not CAC admits it) towards sticking with the original opinion.
I went gold bean. Not sure why they didn't like the surfaces. Looks like it has plenty of luster for a MID AU coin.
