I expect she'll come back "details" cleaned but as i bought her for my slabbed type set, well she needs a slab lol.. and since I sniped her for under 100, even a details grade will make me very happy :D
1871 "no motto" Seated liberty Dollar :D

Counterfeit. The genuine 1871 dollars had “In God we trust” on the reverse. You have a “Chinese mule.” A fake coin with the wrong reverse.

Are you certain this is genuine? The reverse looks off to me.

reverse matchs overlayed pcgs image perfectly as well as front so am 99% sure is the real deal, but is also a "paypal" purchase so even if it does turn out fake my money is safe lol :D

@johnmilton has spoken, I recommend you start the return process now. I was 99% sure it was counterfeit, but he knows for sure.

As JohnMilton, wrote, it has to be a fake, as all 1871 dollars had the rev motto, as on the cleaned '72 I have:

Adding to the other points, this piece should not be weak in the shield area. By this time, the Philadelphia Mint was banging out sharp examples of this design. This is a “grade zee” counterfeit where the Chinese mixed the wrong obverse and reverse.

If you are building a type set, there are two Seated Dollars, No Motto (1840 to 1865) and Motto (1866 to 1873).

I concur its a fake! And sorry but it is.... one must really do ones homework when dealing with a series that you are not familiar with!
The reason you won it for a hundred is a major clue to begin with....the old saying if its to good to be true it isn't true.
Get a refund my friend and report the seller as they shouldn't be selling something that they arent sure of....and believe me they were either clueless or tring to unload on someone without the experience needed to know for sure.

Well actually it was inside of a cigar knife and it was glued inside as I stated above it was being sold as jewelry. The auction was not about the coin and the op took the risk, picture of our pm message. 20211031_152904.jpg
