You'll probably find it in the World & Ancients section. But you can ask any questions you have right here. What do you want to know ?

I supoose you are refering to the value of the coin. But we can't estimate value without seeing it - post pics if you can.

You should also be aware that these coins are very frequently fakes.

I have a similar sounding coin. I think it must be a fake becasue it is has the same words image and dates on both sides.

Its meant to be a colonial Spanish 8 reales, but it is definitely fake.

I was referring to the picture in post #7. I don't think there were ever any other pictures.

    More Carol mysteries

I'd like to add to the diskussion another piece "1783 Carol III". It looks nice and heavy, the Carol has a prominent nose, with Madrid as probably birthplace.
I am trying to add pics, perhaps somebody knows more about it than I do.

It looks too nice to be genuine!
    Any idea?

There are one of these in the accumulation I am liquidating (dated 1800) but in much worse condition (maybe a VG guessing).

Based on the look of some of the design details I think it's a fake coin you have there.

I would suggest posting your question and pictures in a new thread rather than a six year old one.

Same comment as before, post pictures in a new thread, not tacked onto the end of an 8 year old one.
