I did a quick search but didn't see any recently created thread for posting scary coins. (If there's an existing thread already, please let me know and I'll shift this to there.) I've only got one scary one, which is part of the Haunted Canada series. Too bad you can't see the special effect in a still photo. But if you tilt the coin a bit back and forth, the head disappears, leaving only two glowing eyes! LOL. This is about a brakeman who lost his head and on some nights, you just might see him roaming the tracks... looking for his head! To see the effect, here's the link to the Canadian Mint site (it's safe): https://www.mint.ca/store/coins/haunted-canada-brakeman-2015-prod2500025 Happy Halloween and please post your scary coins with camp fire stories.
My avatar is pretty creepy, although it depicts the child god of health and healing called Telesphoros, bit ironic.
I take my hat off to all you Ancients collectors. I haven't been bitten by the Ancients bug yet. For me, it's all so complicated... the names, the emperors, the eras, etc. For some reason, I get a bit intimidated.
I have a skeleton cat coin.... 2 skeleton hand coins... and and 1 gold spider coin from San Marino...
Would be scary if you were the holder of the coin just before the gun fired. If you can tell me for the future how to post a picture so it shows like everyone else before my post, I would appreciate it.
