So these are clearer pictures post soak of the roll of 1942 Wrens that I picked up. Some of these are rather nice for such a cheap purchase. Others, have verdie that really just can't be fixed. This one has nice color This one has some bright red and I haven't seen coin with this kind of mixed colorings This one has nice tone and such a lovely strike. It came out real nice from the wash
Nice Toning and strike This coin came out just lovely there is some laminor pattern on this one that is hard to figure out. It feels like a flaw in the coin

Actually, I thought he (she?) was a plain ol' house wren. I shot the pic earlier this spring when they had a nest by the pool.
