Scarce Bahamas 1976FM (M) Matte Dollar & How Not To Ship a Coin

    LOL. I got this today, a Bahamas 1976FM (M) matte uncirculated dollar coin that is fairly scarce at 600 minted. It was cheap and nice but sadly shipped in a crazy fashion - naked in a stapled cardboard cutout holder with scary staple tines:

    Conch dollar is a wonderful coin. Looks like it survived the careless shipping unscathed.

    Yes, fortunate that. There are a couple of oxidation (very mild) spots that I believe a bit of mild treatment will improve & will post pictures.

    I've seen some rough shipping methods, but that one might take the cake. Glad it got to you without damage.

    Some of the crappiest shipping jobs come from American sellers, some of the most creative from Russia of all places. I guess it is because they are used to having to hide crap from being stolen in the post.
