I recently dug up this 1874 Indian Head. It has an extra diamond or die chip on the neck. Can anyone here ID this and maybe an estimated value? Thanks Dave
A metal detected example. Probably worth a little less than what is listed in the following website - https://www.usacoinbook.com/coins/298/small-cents/indian-head-cent/1874-P/ I'm not sure about that being a Die Chip. Need a better picture. Is that the true color of the Cent?
The color is more of brown. For some reason the pictures came out that color. The coin came out of white sugar sand in Southern New Jersey. I try to detect in good soil so the coins come out in better shape.
