I don't see a clash. Why don't you post an overlay to illustrate it?

yeah it's a very minor, and it is the neck/chin transition area. they sell for like a buck or two on ebay tops. the one that's selling well is a die chip on the reverse off his hat that goes into Epluribus the kids are calling it a "crown" but it's selling well on ebay, small ones like $5 and up, Bigger ones are nearing $200 on there.

don't want to use someone else's pictures, but here's a link if you are interested on what it looks like, probably it's large enough to be an IDB.

I don't want to copy someone else's work and post it here, here is a link to another forum where someone posted WCD overlays. Best I can do, I got to think the guy tags his work so much he's going to be crazy if I copied and reposted it somewhere else.

I started to see the 2021 quarters a few months ago. I think they look better than most of state and park quarters. At least the obverse looks much better. I do like the reverse.

What I'd like to know is on the reverse there is something going from Washington and then thru the R and T in QUARTER to the rim. I thought it may be for his sword but, it looks more like a 2 x 4. Definitely to wide for a sword so what is it. When I first noticed it I thought it was a clash mark but, once I took a good look I realized it was part of the design. It almost looks like they used a 2 x 4 to prop Washington up.

It's one of the zinc cross overs that have many anomalies, and very few legit errors. Keep searching they are out there! Thanks for sharing, good luck.

I think it's supposed to be the scabbard for the sword, but I agree it's awkward and just odd.
It's hard to tell what's uniform coat and pants, and what's cloak, hard to tell if it's a scabbard, or his dangle down, his sword isn't drawn in the paintings, but it is here, I guess in an effort to make it apparent that must be the scabbard.

And seriously, who thought to give him the Batman cape?

I like it, but I think it was too ambitious and wasn't well executed as far as details. good enough, but a poor rendition. hell he's not even facing the right direction unless he's crossing back after the battle of Trenton..... still doesn't make sense to have his sword drawn though or why to have the captian spyglass at the ready.... neither does the dinghy make sense, you'd think they would use a barge platform for cannon, and provisions.. not a glorified canoe.
I'm no history buff. just saying, nice attempt, kind of glad it's only going to be this one year though.

I figure it was for his sword but, it's way to big for the sword he is carrying. Your right it seems to be to busy as far as the details. The boat is correct but, as you said there are to many things on the reverse. I still like it but, it could have been better.

Yes, it is his scabbard, and he is facing in the right direction. Note that the boat in the background is heading in the same direction. It may seem different from other renditions of the crossing, but that is because the artist did not want to be just copying some other artist's work.
