I meant to ask a question about your post, when I read it, and forgot. I have 2 questions, though: What he heck isn't a full indent, and why not? Glass windows. Stones.
If you look at Mr. P's image of an indent (Post #16) you can conclude that a full indent would be referring to one planchet completely on top of another in the coining chamber which isn't very likely. I don't live in a glass house!
She must have been very "roomy", to cause that much damage because she backed into you. I always wonder why a person walks backward. Why was her girlfriend in your passenger seat?
I think the intent of my post, concerning your post about indent, may have been misinterpreted by you. (insert any happy meme of choice)
You have must of, must've and must have settled. Please settle what a "he heck" is. You corrected another person concerning usage, so I assume you intended "he heck".
Back to the coin in the OP's post, it was not necessarily ground down in the usual sense. It looks to me as if it might have been used to level a table or appliance. It might have been placed with the obverse against a cement or tile floor while the reverse was against a wooden or padded foot.
Boy, this post went to the circular file in a hurry. The OP is new and trying to learn, so needs direction, not sarcasm. @Tom lynch, when posting photos, try to remove as much useless background as possible so just the coin is showing, and post FULL IMAGE, not thumbnail (after uploading your photo, two buttons appear; thumbnail and full image. Click Full Image so your photo loads full size). To remove background, if you can't with your current camera, https://www.remove.bg is a free online app that will do it for you. Try to be as descriptive in your title and post as possible so we don't have to guess at what you are asking or need. Good luck.
