You just didn't grease the right palms. I'm sure the preferred bulk buyers got theirs.

After trying until nearly midnight last night to contact the mint with no success, I began again this morning and this time I had the opportunity to leave a call back number. A couple hours later I got the call and the problem was that the expiration date on my credit card and changed in July - after the two May purchases. I was told that updating my payment info on the mint web site does not update it on outstanding orders. Through the use of a secure connection he connected me to, I updated the card info and was returned to him to complete the order. I then asked him to update the other order I had made in May and he said he could not do that because I had not yet received the email from them saying is it a problem.
A couple hours later I got the same email as before now applicable to the second May purchase. I could not contact a person so at 1:20 I left my call back number and then stayed close to the phone all afternoon. Around 6PM I got the call back and then made the update for that order.
I just checked my credit card site and both charges are now pending so it looks like they will be shipped soon.
Both emails said I had to contact them within 48 hours or the order would be automatically cancelled. I was expecting to lose the second order as we are heading into a weekend but didn't have to happen.
Lesson learned - If you make a change to your payment information on the mint web site, it will not update for orders already made that are backordered or not yet filled so that has to be done separately.

After 5 months I get an email today saying there is problem with my order for the 2021 Morgan Silver Dollar. I had been approved for 2 of each. It said I have 48 hours to call customer service or the order will be "Automatically" canceled. Of course it is now Friday evening and zero chance of calling. Is this their way of cutting out the little guys to fulfill what the fat cats ordered ?

I would be disappointed but I wouldn't complain.

Which really wouldn’t be different than now. There’s always going to be complaints when people don’t get the hot items. That will never change.

Credit card problem, no doubt. At least they're giving you fair warning and a chance to mend things. Get on the line to customer service.........

Please try again, customer service is open until 12 midnight EST tonight and through the weekend. I just got off the phone with them, after on hold for 90 minutes, to update another one of my orders because my cc number has changed since my purchases from earlier in the year. Sucks when you have to cancel a cc for fraud. So I have had to do this for three of my four morgan orders and I'll be right back on the horse once my peace Dollars process. Don't give up, customer service is getting it done one at a time. Good luck. Regards.

My 2021 ASE proof S came today! 20211022_203638~2.jpg
And got an email that my 2021 Morgan D mint shipped!

Edit: it took 5 days (Sat the 16th) from when I got the same email regarding the ASE for it to show up in my mailbox.

In my case, my attempt to order a Peace dollar was a hampered by system errors. Unfortunate for me, but I tip my hat to anyone who was successful, despite of the issues. In lieu of minting to demand, I would agree that people would still complain.
For me, the secondary market is not an option unless the coin becomes close to issue price. LOL I suspect I'll never own one. Cheers!

You notice how "there aught to be some way to make it fair." Seems to closely resemble "I didn't get mine." :)

It happened to me as well. It took me FIVE hours to get through. Yep, literally five hours, but I persisted and finally got through on Friday night. For me it was for the O mint mark. My credit card was hacked and the credit card company sent me a new card with a different number. The customer service person I spoke with was very nice. All of my Morgan and the Peace order now show as PROCESSING. Fingers crossed.

I'm not disagreeing with you in general. All I wanted to say is that some in the game are "handicapped" more based on the tools they have to deal with; for me limited internet access. In the end, I'm not going to lose any sleep over someone else fortunate enough to get one or more of these "limited" edition coins.

Both of my Morgans have been marked "SHIPPED". The "S" only has that the number recorded by the USPS. The "D" Morgan shows it has been shipped and will be in my hands by Friday. (Here's Hoping all is well.) I also bought a 2021W American Eagle One Ounce Gold Uncirculated Coin, and it, too, shows that it will be in my hands by Friday.
I do have one question. There was a requirement that I sign for any coin over a certain amount. I asked about it and was told that due to COVID, it is no longer required. That sure opens the door for a thief. I have two homes. One is in the city and the other is 2- miles outside the city. I can get someone to home sitting, but does anyone know if the requirement for signatures is no longer required? I can stay in our city home and get me a six-pack (Pepsi, that is.) and some doughnuts until they knock on my door. My door will be open, but my storm door will be locked to avoid someone coming into my home with a gun. What do you think?

They delivered my last gold coin without a signature, but the delievery guy rang the bell and handed it to me personally. Good luck.

Due to Covid my mail carrier hand delivers packages without me signing for them.
