I don't have a favorite series any more because I sold most of them, but this is my favorite set because they were signed by JT Stanton while he was the interim president of PCI. Rest in peace, JT!
Franklins. I'm not a variety guy, but I do like both circulation strike (preferably toned) and proof. Another several items I can post to this thread are Washingtons from 1940 - 1964, circulation strike coins from 1858, proof coins (no gold) from 1893, and coins from 1958... so lots to pick from, but Franklins are my favorite.
I've been collecting a series within a series. For example the reverse on these two is not the same design type. It's an odd take on the series concept but fun for me.
The nicest of the (6) verities in my collection, the 1927 No Stars. The single star variety is far and away the most difficult to locate, the 1926 One Star slightly tougher than the 1927 One Star.
