Hello, I'm new to CoinTalk. I just started getting into coins about a couple weeks ago. Was going through some change today and came across this 1983 D penny. The D is inside a small concave bowl I guess you could say, but still has its shape. The back of the penny doesn't appear to be raised either. What I'd like to know is if this is an error coin of some sort or was altered post mint. I will try to post a picture soon. Thank you.
