The MS is slabbed and the VF is raw. It’s easy to note the luster and the wear differences. See for yourself.
That’s the way it was listed from the dealer but I think it’s too high. Only paid $5.00 for it so I’m pleased.
I'm first to admit that I'm no expert, but comparing those two coins makes me think one might not be real. Subtle differences would have me examining them under a microscope. Rays of the sun and on the reverse, next to the designers initials. Like I said, no expert and just from photographs.
It might be a little higher than that, even. The pics hint at a considerable amount of luster hiding under the toning on the reverse, but I'd have to see it in hand to be sure.
I am in your camp all day long. There is also quite a bit of luster. The hand also looks to be slightly visible.
