I have to get new headphones for my machine, maybe even just upgrade to a new machine. I wisht I had my machine when I was down in OBX last week.
It looks foregin,my first thought was some kid from the UK lost it on a walk a while ago where @Amberlarry22 found it.
That's really neat, I think it's very exciting that you found stuff - I wonder if I'd find anything if I had a metal detector, I'm dubious. I lived downtown in Detroit in a really neat co-op high rise with high floor water / Canada views after I met a girl from Dearborn through friends from college and got engaged, anyway, Mt. Elliott cemetery, established in 1846 was down the street and we would go picnic there on the beautiful rolling grounds with the ponds and trees. I wonder what one would find with a metal detector there. Frederick Law Olmstead - designer of Central Park was involved in one of the phases of development, it's really pretty. Detroit is a beautiful city - very underappreciated.
I lived in River Rouge, Ecorse area when I was young. Would love to Metal Detect down there right now!
I purchased a cheap Metal Detector. Does the job though. I dont use headphones. All of this was found by a fishing area. I PLAN ON GOING BACK!
If you are like me, I dig ALL signals as I don't trust the identifier on my White detector, so show all the junk you found, just for the fun of it.
You have to be careful with that. Not completely sure, but I think detecting is illegal on the outer banks.
It is prohibited in the National Seashore and several communities - there are websites that list prohibitions and permissions.
