1948 DDO

Looked like a match to me on variety Vista,after all they only have one,how hard can it be.

Can you try to recreate the lighting and focus of the known one?

 

What's going on with this 5?is it just a die chip or something more.

 

No i already tried quite a number of times,this is the only part that's not visible.Im seeing matches for basically everything else.

Ok,im just going through rolls and rolls of wheat cents to kill time.

 

I really do not see any doubling except some die deterioration.

There are no markers to check against and the lettering is standard wear from a deteriorated die at stage C (late die stage). The only think the known example is known for is the slight doubling of the eyelid. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be the same
