Yours? I have one in the woods near my childhood home in the woods. Its in a plastic coffee case with some things I don't remember in it.
Indeed sir, that is why the 8 year believed there was more value in the silver ish coins, so she donated 2 of less value, which pleased her father - he in turn gave her a little extra, and she was able to buy the whole town of Greenville - 6 new hot wheel cars, glue for the cardboard and small dowels, in which to make the stop signs, the mayor of Greenville (her older brother), was so happy that she got to be the gas station attendant at the only gas station! Lol!
Mine's "down" for 54/55 more years (4/7/2076) a whole roll of shiny indians, wheaties and a couple FEs... i'll be 113 when they open it and I made a vow that I would be there THEN. (only in the mind of a 13yr old lol)
My "time capsule" has been "buried" (inside my cabin under the woodstove hearth) for 13 years now and in it is a 1974 Kennedy half dollar and other coins for some lucky person to find. Of course the cabin would likely have to burn down for it to be found, but what the heck. LOL
My time capsule is a purely unintentional one as a result of hiding my shiny 1917 Liberty Standing Quarter 53 years ago. I still haven't found it.
In several of my former lifetimes I buried many of my wife's. To this day I have no clue as to where they are. I'm hoping paddyman98 will dig me up. I'll be holding a sign for him, "Bah-Hum-Bug." Joke for today... Be safe everyone!
