I'm studying this 1941 Cent coin before you . Can anyone tell me the exact error name please . Thinking it is some kind of lamination error ??
    Thanks in advance .

Detached lamination, I think. Fell off after the coin was struck.

That's what it looks like to me. Major lamination. Quite cool.

@masterswimmer must have cloudy eyes after doing some laps!! ;-)

That's a nice delam...like half of a split planchet. Nice error coin...certainly flip worthy, Sal. Maybe you'll earn a tip?

Struck while the lamination was attached, then the lamination separated afterward. It's still definitely a legitimate error, not PMD, if I'm right.

As noted above, it's a lamination on the planchet (due to improper metal mixture)
that detached after the coin was struck, and in circulation.

    Not a cracked planchet -
