They were a softer composition than the standard 75% copper 25 % nickel and the manganese and silver would darken with circulation so your more typical war nickel looks the worse for wear so finding a nice example from a roll find with most of the detail on Monticello and Jefferson present is very unusual. From when I searched rolls I would find an example like yours for about every 100 beater pieces.
Nice find, especially for circulation but I don’t think it’s XF. I’ll take silver any way I can get it and in any condition.
