I have picked up this amongst a job lot of Indian coins. I have tracked it down to being from Penang in the Malay peninsular, but there are 2 coins - a one cent and a two cent - that seem to match. Neither Krause nor Numista give any dimensions to tell which I have - does anyone know how to tell them apart?
Mine is approx 31mm in diameter and weighs 18.95g.

Hm. So you say. The usually well-detailed Numista is silent on the matter. That's unusual.

I think you might have the 2 cents or 2 Pice coin at 28mm and almost 19g. The 1 cent or 1 Pice coin is 25mm and approximately 9.5g.

Very nice rare coin. Great find.

That is great - thanks. That was I felt it was, but only going on the proportions of the wreath with no more accurate measure to go by.
Did you find any online reference for the size?

Krause pictures coins as close to actual size as possible to help with identification in the paper copies of their catalogs. It looks like you have the proper ID. I always liked pouring through their catalogs with coin in hand.
