While going through more of those coins I bought a few years ago, I found these. What a nice surprise! First was the 1938-D Walking Liberty Half. Then I searched the quarters. I found a 1932-D and a 1932-S, each a great find.

Wow! Nice finds! I'm on the lookout for a nice higher grade (but not necessarily UNC) 1938-D Walker myself, since that's my father's birthyear. Sorta have my eye on a slabbed PCGS VF-something that DLRC has.

Now go through your Mercs and get the '16-D and 1921 coins, and a 1916 SLQ! ;)

I got all the Mercs except for the 1916-D and it would be really nice to have found that. It would be super sweet to find the 1916 SLQ but no luck. I did find some other good items that I’ll post later.

WOW...! Don't know the who or where this comes from but it's the finest I've ever seen...an absolutely perfect full head just for starters...never seen one quite like it!

Surely that's the gold tribute version minted recently. I bought one to have with my SLQ Registry Set, and I like it immensely, but it's not a substitute for a real 1916 SLQ.

Look at 2016 gold standing liberty quarter on eBay. When I did the search, 50 items came up. The least expensive seemed to be coins for about $600 uncertified. They definitely have great strikes. As I indicated above, I think it's a good adjunct collectible to your SLQ set.
