Discolored 2020 Quarters

    Generally speaking, no, it is as struck, but eye appeal is a factor in grading which could give it a positive or be a negative or be neutral.

    In this case and because of how it occurs, I'd think it should be handled as a neutral. However, its subjective. So hypothetically if everything else were flawless, luster strong, strong strike, it could be held as a positive or a negative, or a neutral depending on the opinion of the grader.

    Either way though it's a circulation strike quarter and you be lucky to get above MS68 which just about never happens and MS 70s don't happen even hypothetically, except on Silver Eagles.... And it has a weak strike not by much but its noticeable compared to an average strike or a strong strike and they will detract for that. MS64-65 I think would be more realistic.
