It looks like the second link was posted later, so I would lean to the first one being legit, and the second one either "borrowing photos" or scamming, if there is a difference between the two.

Thats what I thought first too, but I looked at the second sellers other auctions and he has more pics with the same backround. So is the first seller thinking he'll get enough for this auction to then hope to win the second auction and make enough profit? Seems strange.

You have something twisted. dcocacola was the second lister and he has no other pictures with the same background.

So two people can use the same photos for different Auctions. Is this right.

OK, we're getting our wires crossed here. The dcocoacola seller was the first link I put up in the OP, that's the first seller I was talking about. The second link is the gypsyspirit seller. That's the one with the other pics with the same backround.

I did not say first link, I said first listed. That is specifically why I included the listings in my previous comments.

    Is that E-pray or E-prey?

I think E-prey for sellers and E-pray for buyers.

    Could be vice versa.

    Happened to me

I once listed something on eBay and another seller who was selling the same item "borrowed" my picture! I sent him an email and he said that I took a good picture and he decided to use mine. The worst part is that he ended up selling his item for more than what I sold mine for. It wasn't a coin but a GPS handheld. So it does happen!! I decided to just let it go and found it a bit amusing - I did the work and he benefited more. Just how life is sometimes.

i understood your post rlm,and i'm not trying to argue. i think my posts weren't clear enough what i was getting at. i just couldn't understand why dcocacola would try use gypsyspirit's pics when they're so easily identifiable as the same in the 2x2's.

When you can figure out how to answer questions like that, there are lots of people out there who would like to hire you.

BTW, have you told gyspyspirit2 that dcocoacola has "borrowed" his pictures? (Reporting anything to eBay will go nowhere because they cannot prove who has permission to use what picture.)

It looks like the buyer is using the sellers pictures to sell the item he just bought.

How can that possibly be when the original lister still has nearly 3 days left on his listing?.

She has more feedback so she probably is borrowing his pics since thyere better and she believes she will get more monye with those pics.
