Does anyone else find it creepy that he would limit these items to "local pick-up only?'

When you get to his house, he kills you and takes all the money that you have remaining after you've bought the 300,000 dollar roll.

Or maybe, part of the price of the roll includes first class airfare, dinners in his city and hotel stays for a week. When you subtract all the accomodations, it turns out to only be a 20 dollar roll.

"Buyer Be Ware" couldn't be more expressed on the internet then anywhere else in the WWW (Wide wide world).

No, I have been burned before selling to out of towners. Cash is the only tender that works best and who's dumb enough to send that in the mail these days?

Yes, if I was paying $135,000 in cash, I would probably not mail it.

I agree with you for reasonable transactions, but this seems different.

The point being wasn't cash in the mail, but dealing with out of towners can be an obvious problem to some, it has been for me. When I post anything for sale local pick up, I don't care if you live under Lake Titty-Kawka,(?) but I'm not going to send it to you. Cash works best but to trust MO, CC, or nearly anything else until it clears is always iffy at best.

Not once he got done with the "tarnish removal" so you could see the mintmark area well.

VERY SERIOUS.. I contacted the seller.. Just to give him a heads up.. To explain about Counterfeit coins.. And recommended CoinTalk for research..
Here is my answer... I miss something I think somewhere...??

"The coin can be submitted any other grading company for a second opinion. I doubt that the decision will change. Weak D is the only consideration worth following. I think eBay is aware of cointalk.com. We are very familiar with you all"

If someone else has mentioned this, sorry ...

You would never see these listings a couple of years ago before eBay started the $.35 per listing per category fee structure. They used to charge based on the starting price or Buy It Now. Maybe they should bring that old fee structure back?

I don't understand.. If you CAN'T sell a Copper Plated Steel Penny.. Then How can you sell a Defaced coin that was defaced to be something MUCH more valuable..

As for the other Auctions.. 135K For a OBW 1969S..
I have a guy who I NOW know gives me a GREAT deal on them.. so.. Sticking with him..

I used to see them all the time. IMHO, they have greatly reduced their listings like this lately.

Wow Dude.. LOL.. Awesome!! Your a Kook.. I know your reading this now.. I guess by your last email.. I hope you don't mind me sharing..
    Hey all Get this!!
So I just got another Email from the seller.. JUST after my last post about it being a good filler...
    "
Why don't you start a "How Many Coin Talkers are on GMDLLRSNCNTS Blocked Bidders List?" It may comfort you. WEIRDO."

Thought you all might get a kick out of it since your all blocked too..

Alright back to you Kooky.. I don't and DID not want to start a fight or have any bad feelings.. I contacted you to let you know your item is an issue.. On Ebay.. AND in the REAL world.
Sorry if it offended you that I tried to offer only 5.00 for your coin..
Sorry if your Auctions gave us a giggle.. They are funny.. and now your funny too..
Since I am blocked on Ebay from bidding on your stuff.. Again.. how about 1.00 for that Counterfeit Coin!!

Sorry guys.. I think I am done on this post.. Wow!

It took eBay long enough, but they finally got around to pulling the auction.
