1980 Roosevelt dime error reverse

    All,
    Could I get some info as to what's going on on the reverse of this dime. By the O in of it seems like a torch imprint, and it looks like an s above olive branch.. Also do you see any doubling on the obverse in in God we trust? Hope the pics are ok. Thanks for your info

    Paredolia.. Looks like an S but it's not.
    Probably heat damage to the clad.

    All I see is damage, but I'm certainly not qualified to say otherwise. What does bother me is that you are holding it in your fingers. Coins should only be held by the edges if you aren't wearing cotton gloves. Only bad things happen otherwise.
