Suspected Counterfeit 1889 CC just listed, repeat seller

    Thanks Manny. I judged it by how all the other indicators matched up. The obverse and reverse die cracks are identical to the VAM's. I appreciate your input.

    I dislike the mushy stars and I'm skeptical about the color. For that matter, the principal device looks a tad schematic for my taste. Hmm. Not gonna bid.
