    Plz any help to I’d this 2 coins


    I feel uncomfortable to this coin I bought from old collector but i need ur help what do u think about it


    First one it’s the owl ( very smal) 13.8 mm- 2.21g



    The second lite bit big I think it’s Greek coin

    32.3mm the wight 16.2g

    TIF Always learning.

    The first one is supposed to be a coin of Athens although it's more of a "tourist" copy.

    The second is likely a modern fake too, imitating a tetradrachm of Mithradates VI.

    I agree with TIF. Both awful modern fakes.

    Agree with TIF and PeteB that both are pretty easily discernable fakes.

    Yes, to ancient collectors. Someone who collects modern coins could still find them interesting, and they are probably nice mementos of whatever museum/city they were acquired from. But they are neither valuable nor ancient.
