You're comparing 1676 with 1677 though. From what I can find, the designs are different. Doesn't mean the 1677 is real though, just saying.
Very good, my error. This is a 1677 and it does have the dot https://www.ngccoin.com/price-guide...t-km-64.1-1673-1678-cuid-1083334-duid-1429473
Yes, I am from MA-Shops. We are in communication with the seller and looking into this matter. All items are guaranteed on MA-Shops; fakes are prohibited.
Detail-wise it seems very good to me for a fake, if it is one. Among other things on the reverse it shows the repunching of the S and a faint line joining some of the interior denticles. Of course a good die transfer could accomplish this. I'm just observing - I have no knowledge of these coins.
I know the shop, also had the coin on my watchlist and i don't have enough info to consider it fake. Sorry guys!
Let me tell you a quick story. I once sent a 1-1/2 Brunswick taler to grading and authentication to one of the top 2 TPG, won't say their name and it came back as a 2 taler. That was a huge mistake so i wouldn't be that sure on their opinion either.
As I’ve mentioned before it’s a type that I’m also chasing, but I want it with good details. If I were you, I would add it on my numisbids watchlist and check the Schulman BV and Elsen auctions , because it’s more likely to show up in one of their auctions. Here’s a recent one: https://www.numisbids.com/n.php?p=lot&sid=4923&lot=1116
