Do you carry any special coins in your wallet?

Did have a BU 1962 Lincoln but Just checked and it is missing. Must be in the wash where I found my wallet this morning

I carry a real 1921 Morgan Silver dollar and a chinese fake 1879 Silver dollar in my pocket all the time.

 

Correct. I drilled a hole right through his bow tie. It's wearing slow but makes a nice conversation piece. I love the ping of a big silver coin.

 

Yeah the novelty wears off when you have 500 of them to get rid of. You need to spread the wealth around.

LOL, ahhh, my sweet days of youth. Carried one of those things around for so long it left a perminent impression on my left buttock.....

On a more serious note, I carry a 2002 ASE in my pocket, not my wallet. Get all kinds of questions like "what's that" or where'd you get that"? It's really fun giving folks a little education......:smile

I am after one of them there $1,000,000.00 coins. When I get one I am pretty sure it won't be going in my wallet or my pocket.

 

I carry a Morgan dollar I bought at a antiuqe shop. Just so happen a bought a new truck the same day So I just keep it in the truck for good luck.

 

I carry a 1989 cent, the year that baby Bubba J was hatched out. It grades at about FA-2 now...

 

1847 large cent in VG condition ([pocket, not wallet).

 

Hmmm got me thinking...

I have a Morgan dollar that is in rough shape, has a hole drilled in it, and someone polished the crap out of it. Its a common date and pretty much is only worth its weight in silver. I do not like the coin in my collection but dont want to get rid of it, guess it will be going on my key ring!

 

Yes I carry this coin in my wallet at all times, just in case I need a nickel for something!!
