I just recieved a couple of mint set in the mail and the seller shipped them in the rigid plastic postcard sleeves. I really like this idea but does anybody see any negative effects of doing so? If so, any ideas for keeping the envelope safe?

Postcard Sleeves are a great idea!

Postcard sleeves are a very good idea... especially since I've been using them for a while!! :smile As long as you have the rigid sleeves, they should be all right.

If you want to buy more, you may want to check out The 2 Buds at www.the2buds.com. They appear to be a small operation out of Michigan and have been very happy with their products and service.
