So I found this 1982 penny. I researched as much as I could, and one website said that it was prominent for pennies from the 1980s and above to have faulty copper plating wherefore, it may appear "silver" (zinc showing) underneath. It also said that it was an error, and worth about $50. I'm not saying it is, but what do you all think? Thanks for all replies. I hope this makes cents (sense:hilarious:) to you guys. They were talking about having an unplated coin.

Not one with some zinc showing thru, like yours.

    Spend it.

Dearborn Above average collector - Is that an Error?

Looks like a heavily worn and flattened Small date Zinc cent to me.
