Another mystery coin from a lot I do not recognize the type. The bust looks barbarous Celt but there are Greek letters on the reverse with a globe, shield or tripod?

Obverse looks like Ares. Reverse appears to be a trophy. Didn't find much on ACsearch using those terms. Perhaps this:

Not finding that coin (the one from ACsearch) elsewhere. Here's a somewhat similar coin on Wildwinds, described as Athena on obverse and a "trophy of arms resembling Athena reverse". Looks like the reference may be the same, although the description is different.

The Wildwinds decription: Lysimachos, King of Thrace, AE23. Head of Athena right, wearing Phrygian helmet / BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛYΣIMAXOY, trophy of arms resembling Athena standing left with spear and shield. Mueller pl. 2, 13; SNG Cop 1164. Sear SG 6818

    Two examples shown:

Still doesn't look quite right for your coin, which may have letters following the curve of the shield rather than vertically oriented legends. Hard to say though.

Yes I see what you mean but it seems some sort of beating or wear may have made the letters look that way? The hat looks more Phrygian than the helmet of Ares. The right place and period and King though is very good. Thank you again for your generous giving of your time.
