No, not in the way you mean it as I don't speak Polish. But in a way yes. After of years of teaching him everything I knew which required several thousand hours of phone calls, thousands of emails back and forth, it was more me developing an understanding of the ideas and thoughts he was trying to express when he said or wrote something. And then I would translate those ideas and thoughts and express them in written English. As one might expect it wasn't a perfect system and it required a great deal of back and forth communication with me writing and rewriting everything sometimes 8 or more times before we were both happy with the final result. Only then would anything be published. Now I don't that for him anymore, but another one of my students, who I introduced to Darek, does. The Teyler's article was the last thing I worked on with him.
