The First Capital of the United States was York, PA from 1777-1778. This is where the Continental Congress met when ore nation was young. I picked up these 2 token in an antique shop in York for hardly anything. Now I can say that I’m the proud owner of them.

This is the newest one. It was issued by the York Coin Club in 1965.

This was issued in 1927. The 2x2 flip is no longer white but almost brown. I think the flip is as old as the token. Lol
It was issued for the 150th Anniversary. The court house is on both tokens. It still stands today but not has been moved. During special times of the year it is open for tours.

Thank you and the second one is 94 years old. The top one is 56 years old so not exactly new but they are both well done.

Both of these are quite beautiful tokens and did anyone notice the keystone above the head on the second one? A keystone is the Pennsylvania state symbol and its nickname is the keystone state.
