Been watching since last year. It finally happened at lunch today. First one I’ve gotten. It’s a Kansas marshlands. A lot of luster left but showing quite a few marks from circulation. It’s in a capsule now. :)

Congrats! A definite keeper regardless of condition. Wish I could find one in change. I’ll probably have to buy one just to get one.

Nice! I've never found a 'W', let alone a 'V75'. And I check all the change I get.

Thanks all! I had to look up the mintages since I wasn't following it but was aware of them. They minted 10 million at Westpoint and dumped them into the circulation of 2.876 billion 2020 quarters nationwide. By my math that comes out to 0.359% of the 2020 mintage of quarters. Now dump all that into all of the billions of already circulating coinage, plus the 2021s.... becoming more amazed the more I think of it.
Funny part is it was a local place I had never eaten at before and just went to it because my wife suggested I pick up some food there.

It was a one year deal in 2020. Westpoint doesn't otherwise mint coinage for circulation.

Yep, the 'V75' was 2020 only, although they put some 2019-W quarters in circulation, too. I've never found either of them. :)

West Point also minted a bunch of circulating pennies and quarters in the 1970s but didn't put the 'W' on them so we'd all think they were from Philly, those sneaky devils....

Oh cool. I either never was aware of the 2019s or had already forgotten about them. I guess I’ll watch for those too now. Good luck!
