@lordmarcovan @MIGuy @tibor Today (yesterday) I got the last US quarter I was missing to get my clad collection of quarters complete with P, D and S. 1965-2021 and there are probably around 400 coins approx I think. . I had to get help from "over there" =) I am just so happy. Think .... now it's complete with the last one that was 1987 from San Francisco. In addition, I got several silver quarters and more. I wonder how supportive people can be. Even got a graded silver quarter PCGS PR69CAM Rhode Island 2001S. Exactly these grades I do not know about, but I guess it is of the better quality on top of silver. Happy man with happy collection. Now I have a starting point of silver quarters thanks to you guys. I will during this week send of Norwegian coins to @lordmarcovan as promissed. Will find a few more used ones to add before sending. I think there is about 50 unc coins and a few used ones and will add a few more. Do as you want with them my friend. Givaway, keep them your self or something you think of =) I am so happy for the siver coins, and for the 1987S quarter that it is hard to tell. Again guys, thank you for what you have done for me and my US collection. Cheers
What an incredible feel good thread. Just another example of the heart and soul of LM. Rob, you never cease to amaze me. I'm also a lucky recipient of one set of LM elongated coins. Leif, good luck on your continued quest for your next set. And please, please, please keep posting your metal detecting finds. I bought my first detector April, 2020 (also the Equinox 800), just as the pandemic started. I haven't been able to get out much because of it. That will hopefully change soon.
I was out yesterday and had a few nice finds mate. Here is some of them. 4 buckles, and the oldest there is from late 1600 early 1700. I struggle a bit with ADHD and have little patience, (short fuse lol) and with all the settings on nox 800 I was often desperate about it. Finally I sold it and have just bought myself a Garret AT pro which I am very happy with. If it is legal at this page, I can make a thread were I post my detecting finds, but not sure if that is okay on a coin page. Happy that you like my finds. You can also look at my finds on my own detecting finds group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2079631242110353
@lordmarcovan @MIGuy @tibor After seeing some USA coin set for sale in my own Norwegian coin/banknote group, I was thinking..... Some Norwegian coin set would be nice to send over to the nicest guys in history to me. So now I have put out some adds to get some of them to send of to you. So it can take some days to get a hold of them and maybe I cant send it of before next week. Just so you guys know. I enclose an example of a Norwegian coin set. They come in differet colors and different numbers of coins. To day we only have 1, 5 10 and 20 kroner (crown) coins. We do not use øre coins anymore like back in the years when we had 1, 2, 5, 10, 25 od 50 øre
@lordmarcovan @MIGuy @tibor It takes some time for me to feel that I have gathered enough for you guys, after you helped me so much. I have now got hold of 2 of 3 coin sets, and hope the last one comes in a couple of days. I also bought some first-day letters, many of them from the Olympics in Lillehammer here in Norway in 1994. A couple of coin letters as well. And a envelope with 60+ coins. About 50 of them is unc and put in to small plasic bags. I send everything to Lord M so he can agree with the other two who also helped about what they want from the package I send. I then need to know how many dollars I need to exchange in the bank to cover p & p from you to the other two (@MIGuy @tibor)
@Leif Erik Johansen. This is a very generous gift. I look forward to adding them to my collection. I'm still in the process of getting to my favorite dealer. Thank you in advance!!
