1883 Indian Head Cent Snow Variety Help

    Hey there,
    I was going through a book of IHCs I just acquired and came across this rather peculiar example. I don’t have the Snow book and can’t figure it out based on Indianvarieties.com
    There is doubling on America, maybe some on the 3 and the 8 and there appears to be a cold sore on the indian’s lip.
    Any help would be appreciated!

    I do not know much about varieties in this series but is the doubling possibly Longacre doubling? I think Sal posted about it some time ago.

    Don't know about snow but...
    Do I notice a bit of planchet flaw coming out between T & E of states and down to the L & I of liberty?
     
  6. I live under a rock. I never heard about 1800s coins that have doubling.
