Nothing like getting differences of opinion.

    Re: Damage:
If it had been damage, the obv would have [or should have] shown the effect

PMD . You can even see where it goes, across the wreath. Also, more damage just below ( scratch) .

Just to let ya know the scratch has nothing to do with what looks like a strike through or Lamination IMO.

Looks more like a strike through than anything else. What you call a scratch at the top of the wheat ear, is it raised or recessed?

Either or. Looking closely at the bottoms of the letters UM, they appear to complete themselves. Therefore, I am leaning toward Lamination error, still a bit unsure though. It's a keeper, in my opinion. Thanks for sharing!

I, too, would hold on to it. If I were secure enough to think it might be an error, I would send it in, that is, if the money is there to pay them.

I'm also undecided on this one. Could be a strike through and then a scratch across the wheat stalk at a later time.

The scratch along the wheat stalk is a new scratch if this is what your referring to 20210928_110625.jpg

    Probably a lamination -

An argument can be made that the scratch
to the right could have been an attempt to
lift the (at the time) retained lamination flap.

....or it just could be a scratch

This pic will enlarge and I am seeing raised metal at the bottom of this.
